We are recruiting research participants to help us restore speech.
We are conducting two clinical research studies for decoding intended speech.
High-Density EEG Study
We are recruiting participants who:
- are willing to shave the side of their head or are bald
- can participate in 4 hr speech and EEG recording sessions
- can wear safe stick-on electrodes during the session
Subscalp EEG Study
We will shortly begin recruitment for our first in-human high-density subscalp EEG study for decoding intended speech. In this study, EEG electrodes will be implanted underneath the scalp (on the outside of the skull).
High-Density EEG Study
Participants must be:
- able to travel to the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery at St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne
- between 18 and 70 years of age
- willing to shave the side of their head
Participants will be reimbursed $40 per hour.
